Ad Hoc Committee on Best Practices for Eviction Proceedings



Purpose

The committee identifies best practices for eviction proceedings with the goal to reduce court filings, quickly resolve cases, and enhance housing stability for the benefit of landlords and tenants.
 

Report

The Ad Hoc Committee on Best Practices for Eviction Proceedings Initial Report released in 2022 offers recommendations on amending forms, establishing eviction resolution programs, creating educational materials about the eviction process, and capturing data about eviction.
